Why is my SiaStream playback slower than normal?

Streaming is fast - videos load in seconds, and seek times are incredibly quick. But when SiaStream is uploading or repairing your files, playback might suffer. Fortunately, you can disable uploading when you're watching something by clicking the pause symbol in the upper right corner.

You can tell when SiaStream is uploading your files by checking your Dashboard. If Files Uploading shows a number, you'll probably want to pause while watching.

Repairing is a little different. It's the process SiaStream goes through to make sure your files are maintaining the correct amount of redundancy on the network. There's no way to see this happening in SiaStream yet, but it's generally a pretty quick process.

How did we do?
